A Series of Activities on




"50 Years under The Brutal Internal Security Act (ISA)"

In observing 50 years of the oppressive  existence of the Internal Security Act (ISA)  and the 23rd anniversary of Operation Lallang, a series of activities with the theme of "50 Years under The Brutal ISA" will be held on:

 

           November 21, 2010                                                    

           from 10am – 10pm,

           at Komtar Walk, George Town, Penang.

The Programme:





A Photo Exhibition on the historical aspects of the ISA 


 ( 10.00am onwards)                                                               






 A talk entitled "ISA: A Political Tool for Oppression"
(11.00 pagi - 1.00 petang )

Haji Mohamad Sabu (Former ISA detainee and PAS activist),
Tian Chua (Former ISA detainee and PKR activist),

Hishamuddin Rais ( A former ISA detainee during the Reformasi movement  ) will speak instead
